Loyola University Chicago purchased an older building that they intended to use as student housing. The general contractor hired to renovate the building contacted Handi-Ramp to design a ramp system that would make the building ADA compliant. The challenge for Handi-Ramp was to design a ramp system that would fit within the building space, satisfy the ADA regulations and blend into the architectural theme of the building and the neighborhood.
Our team of ramp experts and engineers worked closely with the contractor to design and fabricate a ramp system that met the challenge.
Please, review the slides below that will show the finished ramp system and the assembly process. For added safety the walking surface is coated with a non-slip paint. Handi-Ramp is a leader in providing non-slip applications to a variety of surfaces.
