Designs for Change (DFC) is a 24-year-old, multi-racial, educational research and reform organization. Our basic mission is to serve as a catalyst for major improvements in the public schools serving the 50 largest cities in the country, with a particular emphasis on Chicago.

 

Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC)
DSCC provides care coordination for families and children with special health care needs. It helps children with disabilities, and those who have conditions which may lead to disabilities, grow and develop to the full extent of their abilities.

Equip For Equality is a not-for-profit Federally-funded organization that advocates for disability rights in the State of Illinois. The site includes information about recent legislation on disability rights, and the new Ticket To Work Program offered by Social Security

Little Friends, Inc is a private, non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental, emotional or behavioral disabilities. Founded in 1965, and based in Naperville, Illinois, Little Friends operates 14 programs with services including: early intervention, alternative schools, vocational training, and community-based residential support.
